OQEP’s
Responsible Procurement Framework embeds sustainability, ethics, and national
development across all purchasing decisions, in line with Oman Vision 2040. We
strengthen ICV by prioritising
local suppliers, SMEs, and Omani startups, supporting economic diversification
and job creation.
Our
approach advances energy transition and decarbonisation,
targeting a 25% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030 and Net Zero by 2050,
while ensuring transparent, safe, and ethical procurement in compliance with
ISO 20400, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 standards.
Through
digital tools, strong supplier partnerships, and continuous monitoring, we
build resilient supply chains and deliver long-term social and economic value
for Oman.
